Delegate and Alternate Appointment to the 2008 GSBA Delegate Assembly

Please select one delegate to represent your board at the GSBA Delegate Assembly on June 20, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Savannah, Georgia. Only delegates have voting rights at the *Delegate Assembly. Also select an alternate delegate as a standby should the delegate be unable to attend the Delegate Assembly. Please provide the names of your delegate and alternate in the spaces provided below.
Each delegate will receive a Delegate Assembly Handbook a few weeks prior to the Summer Conference and Delegate Assembly, which are being held in Savannah, Georgia on June 20-21, 2008. The handbook will provide you with the Rules and Procedures for the Delegate Assembly, a compilation of suggested changes to the GSBA Legislative Positions, information on the slate of officers for 2008-2009 and more.

The form to submit legislative position proposals will be sent to all board chairs and superintendents. Please note that proposals for new and/or proposed positions must be adopted by your Board at an official meeting before being submitted to GSBA by April 25, 2008 for consideration by the Governmental Operations Committee on May 5, 2008.
