Each year the Georgia School Boards Association/Georgia School Superintendents Association holds an Annual Conference and pre-conference training activities in December at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, Ga. In addition to pre-conference workshops, panels are held to discuss the issues that affect public education in Georgia.
Prior to the conference, school board members and superintendents can attend one of three workshops to obtain state-mandated training. The workshops offered include:
