Laura Reilly
Director of Communications

Laura D. Reilly, APR, is GSBA’s Director of Communications. She manages the association’s public relations programs, including publications, media relations, communications training, marketing communications and graphics support. Prior to joining GSBA in 1996, Ms. Reilly gained experience as a local school district public relations coordinator, a corporate communications specialist and a university relations specialist. Ms. Reilly holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and a master’s degree in journalism from Louisiana State University. She is an active member of the Georgia School Public Relations Association, having served as president in 1997. She is also a member of the National School Public Relations Association and the Public Relations Society of America. Ms. Reilly earned her accreditation as a public relations professional in 1996. She has won numerous publications awards from NSPRA and was named the 2001 Distinguished Service Award recipient by GSPRA. Ms. Reilly was named vice chair of the Council of School Boards Association Communicators (COSBAC) in 2007.
