Mission
 The mission of the Georgia School Boards Association is to ensure excellence in the governance of local school systems by providing leadership, advocacy and services, and by representing the collective resolve of Georgia’s 180 elected boards of education.
Strategic Plan
In September 2002, GSBA went through a process involving school board members, superintendents, district staff members, legislators and business community representatives from all over the state to develop a comprehensive and dynamic strategic plan.  Following are some resources detailing the process, the finalized plan and progress since inception.
