James Fleming was elected GSBA Vice President in June 2008. Prior to this position, he served as GSBA District 10 Director since July 1, 2004. He has served as a member of the following GSBA committees: Strategic Planning Committee, Audit Committee and Governmental Operations Committee. Fleming also serves as a member of the NSBA Federal Relations Network (FRN). He serves as a trainer for GSBA’s Veteran Board Member Training Program. Fleming is a native of Jefferson County. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Pharmacy and is part owner of Wrens Apothecary. Fleming has been a member of the Jefferson County Board of Education for 24 years and has served as chairman for 16 years.
