David Johnson was elected GSBA Vice President in June 2009. Prior to this position, he served as GSBA District 7 Director for two years. He is on the GSBA Executive Committee, the Governmental Affairs Committee, the Nominating Committee, and the NSBA Federal Relations Network (FRN). Johnson also serves on the Board of Directors of GSBA’s subsidiary, eBOARDsolutions. He is a member of the Resource Board and the Emergency Physician Group Board of Directors of the Floyd Medical Center and on several committees at the center. He also serves as Secretary/ Treasurer to the Development Authority of Floyd County, among other community activities. Johnson has been a member of the Floyd County Board of Education since November 1998, where he currently serves as the board’s vice chair and on their budget planning committee.
